Congratulations to Marc Pollard on winning the Club's February Lottery draw.
Marc's son Callum plays for the U10s team and last year captained them on their championship winning year.
Let's hope Marc doesn't use the money to treat himself to another "birthday treat"!!

Lottery winner - January 2010
Congratulations to Terry Jennings on winning the Club's January Lottery draw.
Terry has three sons playing for the Club and he also coaches the U7s and U12s teams.
Terry's lucky number 24 was drawn at the end of last week's Under 9s match after
Chadderton Park came back from 2-0 down at half time to beat Chaddy Grasshoppers 3-2.

Cup Winners - Under 10s Girls
The U10s Girls became the first team to land some silverware this season
when they beat Curzon Ashton 3-0 in the North Manchester League Cup Final
Although goal less at half time, second half goals from Katie Bolton and Ella Leghorn (2)
were enough to wrap up the victory

Manchester FA is delighted to announce Hope Powell, England Senior Women's team manager and Rachel Pavlou, FA National Football Development Manager for Girls & Women will be joining us for an event not to be missed!
Hope Powell, the first woman to achieve the UEFA Pro-licence coaching award has been England Senior Women's team Coach since June 1998, most recently guiding the team to a World Cup quarter final in 2008 and reaching the final of the European Championships in 2009.

Old Phones 4 Cash
Mark Rimmer and the under 6's are running a mobile phone collection on behalf of the club,
Any kind of phone will be gladly accepted. All we need is the phone with a battery in it.
It doesn't need to be boxed, we don't need the manuals, charger or any accessories and we don't need the SIM card. As long as the phone switches on once charged that's all that matters. Phones with broken screens or keypads will be accepted but we will just get less money.
If every player contributes a minimum of 1 phone we should be able to achieve at least £1000.
If people can arrange collections at work we can supply collection boxes.
If they are passed to managers we will get them at monthly meetings.

From my recollection we lost every game but won a trophy for best turned out team.

has passed his level 2 coaching badge.
To achieve this status, takes approx 100 hours of training at the
Manchester F.A. and ends with a final assessment.

Ethan Lord ( CPFC under 13's ) was signed for the forthcoming season .

Howard has won the Manchester FA - Administrator of the Year
in the Charter Standard Awards this year
Howard and his son, Adam, who played for Chadderton Park from U11 to U18 (1997 - 2005).
The trophies are Carling Cup, Manchester Senior Cup, Premier League and World Club Championship.

Welsh Cup - U 9's
The above under 9 's Lions won 1 and narrowly lost to the eventually runners up with an injury time goal
The under 9's Eagles missed out on winning the the Welsh Cup by 1 goal.
They were eliminated by goal difference alone.
Having played 5, Won 3 Drew 2. They finished joint top of their group.
Rawmarsh St.Josephs ( sheffield ) won the cup having scored 11 goals to Parks 10.
The full squad and travelling party had an EXCELLANT time.

The U12s girls team have reached the League Cup Final
After a hard fought and nailbiting 2-1 semi final victory over Curzon Ashton.
Goals from Emma Vickers and Annabel Harrop were enough to secure their place in the final
against Heyside Angels at a date yet to be decided.

Bury & Radcliffe League Champions 2008/09.
Congratulations to Bryn Whitworth and our Under 18's
Their 4 -2 victory ensured the Title was won.

Under 9's Eagles Make Cup Final
On Saturday 14th March our under 9's played a semi - final on Claytons,
They battled out a comfortable 3 - 0 Victory against Marauders Thunderbolts
Goals From Lucas Kavanagh, George Whiteside-Burns and Jimmy Greaves
They now play Roach Dynamo's in the Final on

County Cup Semi - Final
The under 11's played Reddish Villa on Sunday 15th March at Chaddy Fold
This was the Semi Final of the County Cup,
Park took the lead through Tristan Jones but Villa equalised with only 10 min's remaining.
Final score 1 - 1, Extra time and maybe penalty's.
Reddish scored 2 additional goals in added time to end Chaddy Park fantastic run in a difficult cup.
Well Done to everyone.. You have done yourselves and the Club very proud.

Park Sign Andrew Cole ?
On Friday 20th March, 3 of our coaches attended the coaches association organized by
the Manchester F. A., the event was held at the Cliff and 2 sessions were delivered by
both Manchester Utd's Andrew Cole and Roger Davies from the F. A.
Andrew kindly agreed to promote our club scarf, along with under 9 coach Craig Simpson
and under 12 coach Frank Lynch, Steve Lynch also attended and took this picture.

SCHOOLS LEAGUE
The final games of the Club's School League were played out at Chapel Road this month.
This is the third year the Club had been involved in running the league and it was the closest finish ever with the title only decided in the last few games. St. Herbert's ended up as league winners and Mills Hill School were runners up.
With so many Chadderton Park players representing both schools it was just like watching our U11s playing.
Many thanks to Paul Scholes who once again presented the trophies.

Club Scarf and New Hats - PHOTO COMPETITION
We are running a competition to see where our scarfs and new club hats travel the world.

Chadderton Park under 9's make it on the Hawksbee & Jacob show for the 2nd time.
The under 9's sent the show a Christmas card which was a team photo, complete with santa hats and
signed by all the squad, on Friday 28th Nov at approx 3.00 pm they gave us a mention on the show
wishing us all the best and and that they were glad to hear from us again after Jimmy Greaves featured on the show earlier in the Year.

Aaron Ashforth ( 1987 - 2008 )
All at Chadderton Park FC would like to offer our sincere condolences
to the family and friends of Aaron Ashforth who, tragically, died suddenly on 30 October 2008 at the very young age of 21 years.
Aaron played for Chadderton Park from 2001 until 2005 and was a very popular member of the club.
Playing in the Rochdale & Oldham Youth Football League, Aaron’s skill and hard work helped his team lift both
the League Cup and the Fair Play Award at Under 18s level in the 2004/5 season.
Aaron will be very sadly missed.

Manchester FA Skills Programme
Thursday 10th November 2008 saw the launch of Manchester FA's new skills program. The evening consisted of several demonstrations by the FA's new skills team and with plans to set up skill centres around the area including one in Oldham, it could be of great benefit to our players.
That was followed by a training session run by Stuart Pearce and Steve Wigley from England U21s which was later described as "amazing" and well worth an evening stood out in the cold again at the FA. However John, Mark and Matt needed little persuasion to visit the Salford sports Village.
Just a photo opportunity with Stuart Pearce was enough!
