Just a quick recap on today's results as a few people sneaked off when we got that light shower!!!!

 

Group 1 winners were the under 8's winning 2 and drawing 1 game

Group 1 runners up were the under 7's green

Group 2 winners were Dads Army (under 6's) winning 2 drawing 1 game

Group 2 runners up were Bald Eagles (under 11's)

 

The first semi final saw Dads Army comfortable beat under 7's , the second semi final was much closer and conditions weren't the best but the under 8's finally beat the Bald eagles on penalties .Due to the amount of water on the pitch unfortunately the final couldn't be played and was decided on penalties , the first penalty taken was scored and that proved to be the all important kick. Congratulations to the under 8's who are the first winners of the Chadderton Park 5-aside shield. Also well done to Dads Army who didn't concede a goal until the penalty in the final.
